Everything was absolutely perfect, especially the kind welcome of Felice ! I would definitely recommend this lovely hotel.
The B&B is great, very stylish, and still very comfortable. Nice location, great staff made it a very pleasant stay in Rome.
We loved this hotel because it is so different. I may be a little confining for anyone who needs space since everything is small - the rooms, the lift, the dining room, etc. The uniqueness of the hotel makes it really special. The location is also excellent.
The hotel is not sound proof and one can hear other guests in their rooms quite clearly. It may be irritating to sensitive travelers.
Loved the uniqueness of the 13th century tower coupled with the modern design of the breakfast room. Thick walls and double windows make the room very quiet. Excellent location. Beautiful rooftop terrace.
Fantastic stay at a delightful hotel. A dreamy medieval tower indeed. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful. Our son was ill during our stay and we recieved the best care and concern we could wish for.The rooms were comfortable and decorated in a style that was modern yet complimented the age of the building. What a treat it was to go on the rooftop terrace and sit in a hot tub looking at the sights of Rome. Breakfast was continental in style with lots of choice. Will not praise the hotel any more in case there are no vacancies for us next time we go!
Great location, right across the street from the Roman Forum- you can walk to most major sights. It was great fun to stay in an historic medieval tower. Room was nicely appointed with computer and larghe screen tv. Walls were so thick it was sooo quiet inside- Rome is noisy! Breakfast was great- local farm foods! Bathroom with jacuzzi was a nice plus! The roof deck was also a nice plus-great views of Rome.
If you are looking for a hotel with 24 hour service facilities this is not for you- this is really a b&b type stay and the owner/manager was only there part of the time. For us it was fine though.
The hotel staff was extremely helpful, charming and available 24hrs. Although English was clearly a second language, they communicated well with prompt service. The hotel was centrally located and we were able to walk to all the major sites (30 minutes to Vatican was the longest walk, 5 to 10 minutes to most others) without using any Metro or cabs during our stay. The roof top was phenomenal with clear views of Emanuel's Monument, the Vatican, Colosseum and Roman Forum. The hotel was very clean and charming. The breakfast included several sweet breads, fruit, yogurts and cereals plus freshly squeezed orange juice that was very delightful.
Centrally located, marvellous view from terrace, excellent breakfast, very good bed, stylish glass and steal interior
At times some toilet smell in entrance area
The staff were outstanding , they could not have been more kind or helpful.
The jacuzzi on the roof-top with an amazing panorama of the Piazza Venezia. It's heated and open throughout. It's even lit (blue) at night giving it a very romantic ambience below the stars in the sky. Also, the bathroom of our room (which was the only room on the first floor) was quite spacious and absolutely unique! The breakfast consisted of everything fresh and home-made.
Being almost a family run hotel, the reception is not always staffed, so checking in/out requires a bit of waiting.
very interesting little hotel, nice rooms (not too big, but I guess that's standard in Rome), perfectly situated, and the best: the roof-terrace has an awesome view over Rome, and a Whirlpool! super romantic.
Cozy hotel, lovely atmosphere, excellent location, silence around in the middle of Rome. I will be glad to return.
Small staff. During the evenings its hard to receive service.
location is perfect, rooftop terrace with jacuzzi is gorgeous, interior design is charming
Central location, the uniqueness of the hotel and good Internet connection. Also Felice made a great breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and showed genuine concern for guest comfort. Would definatley stay again, my 13 year old son loved it.
Excellent location, great facilities and breakfast and a very special view from the roof.
